What to expect
What a session actually looks like
There’s nothing clinical or startling about it. For a baby, most of the session happens right where they’re happiest, in your arms or resting on your lap. Kayla uses a touch so light it often surprises people the first time; there’s no cracking, no forcing, and nothing that should hurt.
Babies do what babies do. Some sleep straight through. Some feed partway in. Some fuss for a moment as something lets go, then settle. Any of it is normal, and there’s no need for your little one to be still or quiet for this to work. We simply follow their lead and take our time.
For mothers and older kids, a session looks more like resting comfortably while Kayla works slowly through areas that are holding on. Most people find it deeply calming; plenty drift off.
Plan on about an hour, and don’t rush yourself afterward. Feeding, changing, and a slow exit are all part of the visit.
